ABOUT VEZZOLI FAMILY
Our family has been making classic-method Franciacorta for more than 20 years, spanning multiple generations. Today, we make Franciacorta using the SoloUva (JustGrapes) method.
Our estate is young but the Vezzoli family has been making wine for nearly a century. Our winemaking experience makes it possible for us to ensure that our wines reflect the grand tradition of our appellation while still constantly working to improve our production. The entire family shares a boundless passion for our winemaking and every member is involved in the day-to-day management of the vineyards and the vinification process.
MADE WITHOUT ADDING SUGAR
ALL OF OUR FRANCIACORTA WINES ARE PRODUCED WITH GRAPES THAT HAVE ACHIEVED PHENOLIC RIPENESS AND WITHOUT THE USE OF ADDED SUGARS.
Grape must, produced with grapes from our vineyards, is used exclusively for second fermentation and disgorgement.
We do this in order to create a pure expression of the grapes we grow and our appellation.
Not only is Franciacorta our land, but it is also a unique appellation. We believe that this production method is the path that will lead to a rediscovery of our appellation's distinctive character and the wines that are produced from our vineyards.
OUR VINEYARDS COVER 50 HECTARES PLANTED IN DIFFERENT FRANCIACORTA TOWNSHIPS: ERBUSCO, ADRO, CAPRIOLO, COLOGNE, CAZZAGO SAN MARTINO AND PASSIRANO.
Depending on the unique characteristics of each vineyard, we grow Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco, and Pinot Nero, the three grape varieties allowed by Franciacorta DOCG appellation regulations.
Our wines are made using ripe grapes. They capture the distinctive nature of every vineyard determined by the position, altitude, exposure, and — most importantly — the diverse soil types of each growing site.

OUR FRANCIACORTA AND OTHER WINES
BETWEEN OUR FRANCIACORTA AND THE OTHER WINES OUR ESTATE PRODUCES, OUR OVERALL PRODUCTION IS ROUGHLY 230,000 BOTTLES. THESE INCLUDE A VARIETY OF FLAVOR CATEGORIES.
BEYOND OUR FRANCIACORTA, WE ALSO PRODUCE WHITE AND RED CURTEFRANCA DOC.
Thanks to the SoloUva method and the fact that we don't use added sugar, all of our Franciacorta wines are the greatest expression possible of the appellation where they are born. The harvest of fully ripe grapes, the low yield in the press, and the exclusive use of grapes (and the absence of cane sugar) allow us to produce Franciacorta wines that stand apart for the freshness and structure that they deliver on the nose and the palate. They taste of the very same grapes from which the wines were created.
